Traditions - Tennis Court Tailgates The tennis courts are the place to be at 10 a.m. Saturday mornings of home football games. The tents
are set, the fight song is playing, and beer cans are popping. Just after 9 p.m. the night before a football game, MSU
football fans are beginning to line up along Chestnut and down Trowbridge to claim a part of tailgating turf.
Michigan State Cheerleading The members of the nationally ranked MSU Cheerleading Team are a group of outstanding student athletes
who enthusiastically represent the university and lead Spartan fans in support of our many nationally ranked.
Sparty the Spartan is Michigan State University’s fearless and loveable mascot.
